GradGuard commissioned College Pulse to conduct a survey capturing the range of public perceptions regarding the value, affordability, and viability of a college education. The 2022 College Confidence Index is based on the answers of 2,000 overall respondents from the following college consumer groups:
  • College Students enrolled in two- or four-year universities
  • High School Juniors or Seniors who plan to attend college or university
  • Parents of College Students
  • Parents of High School Juniors or Seniors who plan to attend college or university

This survey was fielded between June 6, 2022 and June 13, 2022.

Key Highlights Include:

● How confident are college students and their parents in the value of a college education?

● How worried are high school students, college students, and their parents about paying for four years of college?

 ● What are the most common reasons college students consider withdrawing from college before completing their degree?
