Navigating Academic Life

Coursedog commissioned College Pulse to conduct a survey focused on college students' experiences with enrolling in classes and understanding their degree requirements. From browsing an online course catalog to planning a course schedule in advance, this report explores students' challenges navigating their academic life.

This report is based on the answers of 1,500 respondents from 75 universities around the country, and the survey was fielded between January 23 and February 2, 2023.

Key Highlights Include:

● How often have students experienced difficulty enrolling in the classes they need to meet requirements for their major or general education?

● How easy or difficult is it for students to understand their degree requirements and which classes they should take each term to successfully complete their degree on time?
