How do college students feel about certain policy proposals?

From free college and student loan forgiveness to admissions and free speech, students have varying opinions about different higher ed policies at the federal, state and institutional levels. Conducted by Inside Higher Ed and College Pulse and presented by Kaplan, this survey of 2,035 college students shows how passionate students are about a variety of state and federal policies, particularly those related to paying for college. College student data was collected from June 22 – June 29, 2021, through the College Pulse mobile app and web portal, and weighted to be nationally representative of two- and four-year college student populations.
