Student Health Habits and COVID-19

How Has COVID-19 Impacted Student Health Habits?

Group 6-3

Many college students have fallen into unhealthy lifestyle routines this past year -- with 1/3 reporting their health as "fair or poor" -- and need support in getting back on track. Conducted by Inside Higher Ed and College Pulse and presented by Kaplan, this survey of 2,002 undergraduates from 105 two- and four-year universities demonstrates how students are struggling and what colleges can do to help. College student data was collected from April 28, 2021 to May 2, 2021 through the College Pulse mobile app and web portal, and weighted to be nationally representative of two- and four-year college student populations.

Key Questions Include:

● Have you been physically impacted by increased screen time?
How has your eating routine changed since the beginning of COVID-19?                                                                                  ● Are you getting more or less physical exercise than before the pandemic?
● How would you rate your overall health?
