A Course Hero/NASPA Study powered by College Pulse

Course Hero and the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators commissioned College Pulse to administer a survey of college students’ experiences with COVID-19, their return to campus, and the support they are receiving from their college. College student data was collected from September 28th to October 5th, 2020, findings from this report represents a sample of 3,500 full-time students currently enrolled in four-year degree programs surveyed via the College Pulse mobile app and web portal, and weighted to be nationally representative of four year college students.

Key Highlights Include

  • Nearly 1 in 5 students report that they are “constantly” anxious about the pandemic.
  • Students are spending more time on their coursework, and less time sleeping and exercising compared to the Spring.
  • Students overwhelmingly trust their professors (90%) and friends (89%) to do the right thing when it comes to decisions about COVID-19.
  • Despite the challenges college students face at this time, they are optimistic about their future.
